met Rob Jackson and two of the people that work with
Rob; Pete Jaran and Scot Vozza. After meeting in Reno on
Thursday afternoon, the 4 of us drove to California so
that we could spend Friday in Yosemite National Park. We
would visit the Mariposa Grove and then do some hiking
around Yosemite Park.

Havasupai reservation, Grand Canyon
(From show # 9) The Havasupai Reservation is
located in one of the most beautiful and remote areas
of the western Grand Canyon. The Village of Supai, is
located in Havasu Canyon, a southwestern branch of the
Grand Canyon, and is accessible only by foot, horseback,
or helicopter. It is a 6-mile hike into the Grand
Canyon to the Havasupai reservation. On day two, we
followed the blue-green water of the Havasu creek
through a canyon with 1000 foot, vertical stone walls.
We passed the 190-foot Mooney falls during our 4-mile
trek from the camp grounds to our turn around point at
Beaver Falls.
