An ultralight aircraft called a Powered Parachute is the common thread that ties together many different New York State adventures, some on the ground and some in the air. The "Surface to Air New York" video includes flights over open lake water in the summer, a flight over a frozen bay in the winter as well awesome footage flying above the mountains and clouds of the highest point in New York State. The adventure continues with a hike viewing the unusual pointed spires of Chimney Bluffs State Park and then a flight over a gorge called, “The Grand Canyon of the East”.
